When you initially think of MS, exercise isn't the first thing that springs to mind. When you consider things like fatigue and limited mobility, it's probably the last thing.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a method of exercise that can have some real positive effects!
It demonstrates how anyone regardless of mobility can take part in exercise and it can be done anywhere, without having to think about it or having to find any props/equipment. It especially encourages exercise from the chair!
Exercise is very important and if you use a mobility scooter or wheelchair, exercise is even more so important, due off course to the limited mobility.
I personally use a fantastic exercise video that can be watched on YouTube and is produced by the UK based MS Trust. It can also be purchased directly from them for just £1 and this includes postage!
It features the fantastic and energetic Mr Motivator, well known for keeping fit and helping others do the same. He is not only great at what he does, but considers everyone regardless of mobility and makes all feel included.

Finally, I cannot begin to explain just how good doing exercise every morning makes me feel. I can feel the blood moving around my body, the foggy feeling in my head clearing and my body feeling more flexible. To top it all, I can do this from the comfort of my chair, by watching a TV screen or computer and joining with what they are doing. In my opinion for the amount of time and effort put into the exercise, the payback is fantastic and makes a huge difference! I strongly recommend this!
