Hilton Hotel, Deansgate Manchester:
As you'd expect from a major hotel chain there is accessibility to the hotel and also the same with rooms. Also, as you'd expect I was offered an accessible room. The staff were also very good and whenever they saw me, always asked if they could do anything and generally went above and beyond.
The only let down was the under manned concierge service which they charge £20 a day for, I would've expected more staff. However, as a service it's great, as they would take and bring your car as required, which makes life a lot easier.
Novotel Docklands, London:
Hotel wise, this started off as the worst experience with the reception desk not knowing where the disabled parking spots are and where the best place to unload baggage is, the hotel reception was based on the 1st floor. I think the reception desk and reception phone, must be answered by two different places as neither knew what was going on.
When I finally got in the guy on reception was very helpful then and throughout my stay, this made it a great stay and ended well, but the arrival was a mess.
