Vertigo, this is general, but has an effect on other things such as balance. It can also rarely cause nausea and vomiting, which can make an affect to travelling.
Slow limb position feedback, this basically means that when someone with MS wants to move their leg for example; it may take a while for the leg to respond to this. This goes back to messages from the brain being distorted. It also may mean people with MS can't move parts of the body. The brain knows what it wants to do, but the body does not respond.
Muscle wasting or stiffness. Due to reasons above, the muscles are not as active as they should be and as a result need waking up. They should be kept active or given assisted exercise. Physio and exercise can help, but not cure. OK, maybe I'm a different kind of muscle, but you get the picture? Capiche!
Urgency, MS can cause urgency when going to the loo. So when people with MS need to go, they really do need to go!
